The Castletroy Park Hotel was a lovely family-friendly destination for our stay. We appreciated the spacious family room that perfectly accommodated all of us. The Christmas decorations were enchanting, and the warm atmosphere. Plus, the staff were helpful!
The food quality could use improvement.

They upgraded me to a budget room with a lovely view to the castle in Castletroy. Had marvellous location to lunch in the garden. Moreover, it was not far from the castle in Castletroy, the local shop and the Bistro where food was very good and staff were helpful and friendly.

Lovely breakfast at high prices, combined with a fantastic service. Beautiful building and rooms with a pullout couch.

Had stayed beofre and thought it had got grubby and more run down. Easy to get to. Limited options for dinner as restaurant was closed.

The staff are all lovely, and the setting is good.
The decor is good, but getting slightly frayed at the edges -- could do with just a little attention? I'm not sure that I like the new buildings that went up opposite the entrance since my last visit, but that's not a major problem.

The family room was spacious, giving my kids room to play. The warm atmosphere during the holiday season felt festive with beautiful decorations. The staff remained friendly, checking in on us frequently. While the breakfast had a wide variety, some items felt a bit lukewarm and could be served hotter. The dining menu lacked options, especially for those with dietary restrictions. The pool area was warm but a bit dated, and maintenance in some common areas seemed necessary. A great place for families to relax and enjoy time together.

The price
Reception could'nt find my booking. The room stinked of cigarette smoke. I stood in a queue for 15minutes to check out and eventually just left. I could'nt find my way into the underground car park so I followed some other hotel guests and we walked down the access ramp.

Staff and pleasant layout of the hotel
single glazing on the windows, bitbuzz internet,I only need internet for a few mins at any time of the day,the bitbuzz link hijackes your normal browsers settings,I also stayed in your hotel in Westport and had very limited internet use free.I think this might effect my choice of hotel in future.I was given 24 hour internet free in Castletroy hotel.hope this helps some, thanks for pleasant stays in your hotels.Denis Barrett

Marvellous and brilliant location to University Concert Hall. Set in a nice area close enough to the centre of Limerick. Convenient parking and delicious breakfast at high prices.

Room and services were excellent. Proximity to Limerick Concert Hall, University and walks along magnificent Shannon River.
Breakfast was poor, and expensive if not part of inclusive rate. Would go elsewhere locally for breakfast next time.
